About Us

Our guiding principle has always been to provide the highest quality of service and to meet the needs of the local community.

positive patient-provider relationship

We are an Effective Team

Once a practice gets to the point where everyone agrees that they are working for the patient and are comfortable having tough conversations with one another about improving processes and systems, they need to go one step further. It must aim to incorporate the patients into healthcare decision-making. There is growing evidence, suggesting that involving patients in decision-making helps improve their knowledge and healthcare experience and reduce health service utilisation and cost. The evidence also suggests that patients may modify their health behaviour and status after being involved in decision-making

01

Professional

We believe professionalism is about accountability and the need for physicians to work in teams and systems that may override physician autonomy for the greater good of the patient.

02

Focused

We are person-focused, accessible, comprehensive, continuous over time, and coordinating when our patients have to receive care elsewhere.

03

emphatic

Building a positive patient-provider relationship should start and end with the golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated.

Patients are generally looking for a provider who is knowledgeable, listens to patient concerns, explains medical concepts clearly and spends as much time as necessary during care encounters.

pass on the knowledge

Teaching

The process of integrating knowledge and applying it to patient care is complex and challenging for students to learn, but is ideally taught in a clinical context such as the consulting room.

After being accredited we have become a teaching practice for general practice education and training.
